Nutritious and Delicious Gems
Healthy meals at The Paprika Palace consist of whole foods (as much as possible) with little added fats and sugars, occasional poultry, more frequent dairy and eggs, and no red meat or pork.
My husband and I have never been big meat eaters, but you can easily add meat wherever you want. Oh, and don’t forget the spices! Lots and LOTS of herbs and spices!
While fine wine and fancy drinks may have their place at any royal meal, we reserve wine for special occasions (and occasionally cooking). We both feel better without it and realize the downsides of alcohol far outweigh the good, at least for us. But if you enjoy a drink or two with dinner, please do! We’ll even hand you a corkscrew.

If you fill your kitchen with nutritious whole foods, there will be no room for pesky dragons (processed foods, excess added sugars, an abundance of butter and grease, a surplus of salt, and age old harmful habits you may not even be aware of, like thinking of foods as being “allowed to eat” or “not allowed to eat”).
